Also open in Corona times, everything is available to take away. We recommend. Small restaurant which reminds of a fast food restaurant in terms of ambience, but very clean and extremely friendly staff. The surprise was the food, which tasted great. No matter if starter, main course or dessert, everything is top notch. I will definitely recommend the Kalinka.

We have now been to Jena for several weekends in a row due to work. Accidentally discovered this small, from the outside quite inconspicuous restaurant. Never eaten Russian before. Ate there once - eaten there always! ! ! Can only confirm all the very good reviews on the net! Always happy!

Really tasty. First try Russian dishes. But it really is a surprise to us. Borsch recommended.

Though most people think it's part of the bakery next door, this place is one of my favorite local lunch spots. Very casual and extremely friendly, with an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're a regular customer the first time you go. The food is always good, with a menu that ranges from a quick, cheap snack to a full meal. Definitely give it a try.

Perfect dinner out with friends. Everything was freshly made the same day! The herring salad is one of the best I've had in my life. Georgian wine available at the place! All the food was very tasty. This place is a real gem! Our real food! Everything is very tasty cooked, wonderful hosts. Highly recommend!

I love the kalinka. The two owners are incredibly nice and hospitable! He always manages to make a little something tasty for me. Basically, I always take the delicious pelmeni that come around the corner in Ukrainian style with dill and sour cream sauce. The salad is fresh and comes from local farmers. She bakes the cakes fresh every day and as far as I've seen they are also sold in the somewhat older coffee party population. There is also ice cream and lots of fresh juices. The freshly squeezed orange juice is absolutely delicious, always sweet and luckily not that stuffy. I can highly recommend it!

Very delicious Russian cuisine in the Kalinka. Have been here many times, so far only for coffee and today for dinner. As always, we were warmly welcomed and would love to come back anytime.

We were the first time yesterday in Kalinka. The waitress was super ? and the food good. The salad had something do with less mayonnaise. We had expected that the dumplings are homemade. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The pot of meat and potatoes was delicious ? The decor was good for the size of the store. As far as everything was clean. However, in the bathroom / toilet, we were not in time.

Top!!!! Prepared with love. Typical Russian food and great vodka. You feel at home and are happy to come back for this reason.

The food was really great and damn tasty. The service was very nice and also funny, which made for a great atmosphere. You also saw the food and tasted, that everything was freshly prepared. I can recommend this little nice restaurant in good conscience.
